We’ve seen a lot of complains about them – poor speed, almost no support, support tickets haven’t answered, overselling, servers went down. Others claim they answer support tickets within 30 minutes, speed is OK. It seems so far that is smarter to avoid them.</p> </p> <div class="small box"> Posted in <a href="http://www.vpsreview.com/category/hosting-providers/" title="View all posts in Hosting Providers" rel="category tag">Hosting Providers</a> | <a href="http://www.vpsreview.com/hosting-providers/vpslandcom-review/trackback/" title="Copy this URI to trackback this entry.">Trackback</a> | <a href="http://del.icio.us/post?url=http://www.vpsreview.com/hosting-providers/vpslandcom-review/&title=vpsland.com review"target="_blank" title="del.icio.us">del.icio.us</a> | <a href="#" title="Top Of Page"/>Top Of Page</a> </div> <p> <!-- You can start editing here. --> <ol class="commentlist" id="commentlist"> <h3 id="comments">One Response to “vpsland.com review”</h3> <li class="alt" id="comment-603"> <cite>Disappointed</cite> Says: <br /> <small class="commentmetadata"><a href="#comment-603" title="">November 13th, 2007 at 5:53 pm</a> </small> <p>BAD BAD BAD!!! Our VPS was down several times in the first week of signing up. We have several accounts on several servers. They have a 99.99% uptime guarantee - and it is WORTHLESS!!! They won’t even list it on their website, but they use it as a big selling point. They said they have never had to pay the guarantee. Because they won’t pay it. One of our servers had less than 95% uptime, then they finally switched us to another server after 3 requests. Our other servers didn’t even hit 99.9%. Connections time out a LOT. Must be VERY overloaded. Spend a couple more dollars and go somewhere else. It takes these jokers about 2 hours to get to your support request, and if the server’s down, another few hours to get a reboot. BAD SERVICE, BAD SUPPORT. Going elsewhere!! </p> </li> </ol> <div id="loading" style="display: none;">Posting your comment.</div> <div id="errors"></div> <h3 id="respond">Leave a Reply</h3><br/> <form id="commentform" action="http://www.vpsreview.com/wp-comments-post.php" method="post" onsubmit="new Ajax.Updater({success: 'commentlist'}, 'http://www.vpsreview.com/wp-content/themes/andyblue-ver-1/comments-ajax.php', {asynchronous: true, evalScripts: true, insertion: Insertion.Bottom, onComplete: function(request){complete(request)}, onFailure: function(request){failure(request)}, onLoading: function(request){loading()}, parameters: Form.serialize(this)}); return false;"> <p><input type="text" name="author" id="author" value="" size="22" tabindex="1" /> <label for="author"><small>Name </small></label></p> <p><input type="text" name="email" id="email" value="" size="22" tabindex="2" /> <label for="email"><small>Mail (will not be published) </small></label></p> <p><input type="text" name="url" id="url" value="" size="22" tabindex="3" /> <label for="url"><small>Website</small></label></p> </p> <!--<p><small><strong>XHTML:</strong> You can use these tags: <a href="" title=""> <abbr title=""> <acronym title=""> <b> <blockquote cite=""> <code> <em> <i> <strike> <strong> </small></p>--> <p><textarea name="comment" id="comment" cols="50%" rows="10" tabindex="4"></textarea></p> <input type="image" src="http://www.vpsreview.com/wp-content/themes/andyblue-ver-1/images/submit.gif" value="Add Comment" id="submit" name="submit" alt="Add Comment"/> <input type="hidden" name="comment_post_ID" value="7" /> <input type="hidden" name="comment_post_ID" value="7" /> </p> </form> </p> <p></p> </div> <!-- ### footer starts ### --><br/> <div class="footer"> <p> Copyright © 2007 VPS Reviews - Best and Cheap Virtual Private Servers - VDS Hosting<br/> </div> <!-- class="footer" --> <!-- ### footer ends ### --> </body>
